There is a need of better exhange of experiences and knowledge at a more personal level between Africa and Europe, than what is usually possible through big organisations. A lot of good work can be done by small scale cooperations involving locally working researchers, scientists, teachers and students
Last friday the Science without Borders (SWB) launched their new web portal. They started their activities last year with support from different organisations, among others the European Foundation for Quality in E-Learning. where MKFC Stockholm College is an active member.
Science without Borders is a multistakeholder network of organisations involved in higher education, academic cooperation and science based activities between the two continents.
They want to initiate, facilitate and support cooperation between higher education teachers and students, scientists, researchers and other stakeholders of the academic sphere between Africa and Europe.
So, by joining SWB you will connect to a variety of cooperation opportunities with your peers from Africa and Europe. SWB is an open network helping you to link up!
Stockholm College has, by the years, experienced the time-consuming and sometimes hazardous job to find the most relevant cooperators. We really welcome this facilitating initiative and hope for many new creative, connections between our two continents.
