Faniel Sium, MKFC Representative in Eritrea, have had a meeting with Mr Semere Russom, Minister of Education, and Mr Alem Habte, Head of the ICT Unit (MoE) in Asmara

At the meeting Faniel has made a presentation of the MKFC acitivities and ambitions with learning for changes.

– I described our students’ ongoing projects in Eritrea as well as our activities and cooperations in other African countries, says Faniel. And I explained how End-to-End eLearning™ works, exemplified by the MKFC Teacher Training programme at the Finnish Mission School in Asmara.

Mr Semere Russom expressed his view and the willingness of the Ministry of Education to listen and to discuss ideas to ensure a good development of the national education.  Mr  Russom pointed out that changes must be in harmony with the Eritrean school system.

A conclusion at the meeting was that the ICT Unit Department and MKFC will continue a deepend discussion to find possible areas of collaboration.
